iMQ Empowering SecuX and TripleID: Demonstrating Silicon-to-Device Hardware Trust at World Summit AI 2026
Dr. Frank Lin, President of SecuX and COO of iMQ., delivers a keynote in Amsterdam as SecuX debuts the PUF-based Evidence Key and PUF Server, built on iMQ Secure Element chips with a NeoPUF hardware root of trust.
As autonomous AI Agents and quantum computing evolve rapidly, traditional software-only security frameworks can no longer withstand sophisticated cryptographic threats. Frank Lin, President of SecuX Technology and Chief Operating Officer of iMQ Technology, was invited to present at the GAITA (Global Artificial Intelligence and Technology Alliance) international forum in the Netherlands. At GAITA standardization around a verifiable AI trust chain (VAITC) is the overall goal to enable accountability computing. He delivered a keynote address titled “NeoPUF-rooted Security: Safeguarding the AI World in the Post-quantum Era,” sharing forward-looking cybersecurity strategies with global technology leaders.
During his presentation, Frank Lin highlighted that as AI robots and autonomous AI Agents become deeply integrated into critical workflows, establishing an unclonable Hardware Root of Trust is paramount. Powered by NeoPUF physical unclonable function technology developed by eMemory and integrated by PUFsecurity, iMQ's Secure Element generate immutable hardware identities and signing keys directly at the silicon level. This establishes a verifiable, auditable framework for Accountability Computing across edge devices and cloud infrastructure.
From Silicon to Device: A Hardware Root of Trust for AI
Frank emphasized that hardware-rooted trust must translate into actionable turnkey solutions. In strategic partnership with international provenance platform TripleID, SecuX Technology presented a full array of end-product hardware security solutions embedded with iMQ Secure Element chips:
Autonomous Machine Passport: Assigns globally unique, verifiable hardware identity passports to AI robots, drones, and edge AI Agents, enabling secure machine-to-machine (M2M) authentication and automated authorization.
AI Robot 'Evidence Black Box': Cryptographically signs AI prompts, inference logs, action records, and video captures, storing them in a tamper-evident digital black box to ensure legally verifiable audit trails in legal or insurance disputes.
Personal & Enterprise Security Devices (SecuX PUF Dongle & PUF Server): In collaboration with TripleID, SecuX introduced the PUF Dongle for personal identity and cryptographic signing, alongside the enterprise-grade PUF Server. Deployed via PCIe cards with Root CA management, the PUF Server enables tamper-proof LLM token metering for fair, auditable AI service billing.
Visual Trust (Anti-Deepfake Defense): Embeds secure element technology directly into image sensors and ISP processors to cryptographically sign photos and videos at the moment of capture, verifying authentic media origin and combating Deepfakes.
Silicon-to-Device Ecosystem
Frank Lin noted that industry partners—eMemory (Silicon IP), PUFsecurity (Crypto IP), iMQ Technology (Secure Element Chips), and SecuX Technology (Turnkey Security Devices)—together form an integrated "Silicon-to-Device" chain of trust that seamlessly interfaces with global platforms like TripleID. In AI data centers, the NeoPUF-rooted Caliptra open standard is gaining widespread adoption among cloud leaders to secure boot sequences and inter-processor communication.
Benjamin May, Executive Director of GAITA, highlighted also that this is first reference implementation over different eco system players showing how to establish such a trust chain from silicon to AI which is truly special to bring accountability compute forward.
Frank Lin, President of SecuX and COO of iMQ, concluded: "In this converging era of AI and quantum computing, software-only protection has reached its limit. Hardware is the sole foundation for digital trust. We will continue working alongside our global partners to ensure that every byte of data, every AI decision, and every autonomous machine can be authenticated and audited with complete confidence."
