SQ719x

PUF-based Anti-Tamper Secure Element

The SQ719x is an anti-tamper secure element uniting NeoPUF silicon fingerprinting, a comprehensive anti-tamper enclave, and an advanced crypto engine. It delivers zero-trust physical armor to protect critical infrastructure, smart meters, and industrial PLCs.

Certifications

NIST CMVP Level 3 (FIPS 140-3)  Cryptographic Module Validation Program  (in progress)

NIST CAVP Cryptographic Algorithm Validation Program (Validation Number: A3314)

NIST ESV Entropy Source Validation (Validation Number: E227)

Security Assets

NeoPUF Silicon Fingerprint & Dual Hardware Identifiers (PUF-based RoT)

Powered by 2 Kb NeoPUF technology that dynamically generates zero-trace keys in volatile registers at runtime. Combines a 128-bit factory UID with a 256-bit NeoPUF Unique ID (PUID) for unforgeable dual-layer hardware authentication and silicon anti-cloning defense.

Comprehensive Anti-Tamper Enclave

Integrates a full-coverage active top-layer metal shield and SPA/DPA side-channel countermeasures, coupled with sub-microsecond (<1µs) automatic key zeroization (Command 0x91) upon physical intrusion.

Advanced Cryptographic Engine

Features a complete hardware cryptographic suite including asymmetric ECC P-256 (ECDSA/ECDH), symmetric AES-128/256, SHA-2 256, and TLS 1.2/1.3 KDF/HKDF network acceleration to secure critical infrastructure and industrial gateways.

API Integration

Supported by iMQ SE APIs and PKCS#11 cryptographic interfaces for industrial gateways, smart grid meters, and decentralized machine identity (DID/C2PA) nodes.

Environmental Spec

Tailored for outdoor heat, extreme cold, and severe electromagnetic interference in industrial and energy applications, with an operating voltage range of 2.5 V to 5.5 V and an extended industrial operating temperature range of −40°C to 105°C.

Target Applications

Smart Grids & Metering

Outdoor smart electricity meters, gas meters, water meters, and substation control units vulnerable to physical tampering.

Critical Infrastructure & ICS

PLC controllers, solar/wind inverter control boxes, and financial POS terminals.

Decentralized Machine Identity & Signer (DID / C2PA)

Powers air-gapped hardware signing solutions (e.g., SecuHSM / PUF Signer Dongle in partnership with SecuX) to provide AI Agents with physical hardware verification.
