SQ710x
Entry-Level Hardware Secure Element
SQ710x is an entry-level secure element featuring a NIST TRNG, hardware isolation, and a baseline crypto engine. It delivers cost-effective credential protection that simplifies compliance for mass-market IoT devices and appliances.
Security Highlights
High-Entropy NIST TRNG (Baseline Security)
Integrated high-entropy True Random Number Generator compliant with NIST SP 800-90A/B/C standards, generating unpredictable random keys to stop replay and spoofing attacks at the source.
Baseline Hardware Isolation
Powered by a dedicated 16-bit secure processor core and 32 KB Flash (including a 256-byte secure memory vault), physically isolating keys from host OS software exploits and memory dumping attempts.
Baseline Crypto Engine
Hardware-accelerated symmetric encryption and hashing engines supporting AES-128/256 and SHA-2 256 for secure data encryption, decryption, and hash integrity verification within the secure hardware boundary.
API Integration
Supported by standard SPI and I2C interfaces with lightweight iMQ SE APIs for seamless add-on security upgrades without redesigning the main SoC.
Environmental Spec
Engineered with a wide operating voltage range (2.0V ~ 5.5V), SQ7101 is fully compatible with battery-powered devices or standard IoT mainboard power supplies
Target Applications
Smart Locks, Home Appliances & Wearables
Deployed in smart door locks, personal health wearables, and smart sensor nodes for standalone hardware authentication.
