Brief

SQ7191, SQ7193 is the PUF-Based Secure Element. PUF exploits the silicon’s inherent physical variations to generate cryptographic keys on demand—keys that are never stored and cannot be duplicated. This PUF-driven approach creates an immutable hardware “root of trust,” inherently resilient to cloning, extraction, and invasive attacks. The PUF demonstrates strong randomness with a 50% Hamming Weight, uniqueness with a normalized Hamming Distance centered at 0.5, and proven reliability test results. The device supports symmetric/asymmetric authentication, attestation, and TLS1.2 and 1.3 secure connection. It is embedded high quality TRNG(True Random Number Generator), hardware asymmetric/symmetric algorithms: ECC-256, AES-128/AES-256, and SHA-256. Using the active tamper detection & side channel countermeasure technology to raise up system's security level. In addtion, the device supports a wide operating range from 2.5 to 5.5V. It is easy to integrate to original design with standard I2C(SQ7191)/SPI(SQ7193) interface. This Secure PUF ASIC is suitable for IoT device signature & verification, smart home appliances, system anti-cloning, secure boot/secure OTA, end-to-end encryption, etc.
